Kathy Cross Biography -
I am the second-born to Ovia and Janis Cross with one older sister, Karen Joan Phillips. I was born in the mountains of Scott County, Tennessee in the town of Oneida.

Daddy was a deacon in a small baptist church. Mom, Daddy, Karen, and I sang for the Lord in churches all over the county as "The Cross Family." We did our best to live for God and spread His message through our songs.

At the age of 19, I married Al Schmittling and was widowed three (3) years later in 1981. During the next several years of my life, I concentrated on my career, owning and managing five (5) income tax preparation franchises in East Tennessee. I worked hard, but I knew there was another call on my life.

A few years ago I began singing again. In 2005, while singing in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, I was asked to record some demos by songwriter and producer, Dale Parton.

Dale and I have been singing and working toward building a music ministry since that time. My second CD was finished in January, 2008. The title song on the CD is "Better Homes and Gardens," a great song written by Dale Parton. We will be releasing a single soon and will start promotions. I am available for full-length services, singing, and other events.

Although the Doctors have been treating me for cancer since April, 2006, I firmly believe that like David and others in God's Word, that the battle is NOT mine, but GOD'S. God never loses and does not change. Through faith in God, I am healed. Please call or contact us soon. Dale Parton Biography -
I was born in the Smoky Mountains of Sevier County, Tennessee to Charles and Nadine Parton. Music was just a part of life to us - the same as life itself.

By the age of ten, I was playing my guitar and singing with everyone who would let me. There has always been a special kind of feelings contained in a song. So, MUSIC, is probably who I am. My love for the Father and His Son, Jesus, is definitely the icing on the cake.

My sister, Shirley, and I have always sung and wrote songs. I've been fortunate enough through the years to meet and work for some of the all-time greats in the music industry.

It will be three years in June, 2008, since Kathy and I have been working together. God is so good to help us to witness in the music ministry. I am very proud of Kathy. She is truly a great witness for the Lord.
